More likely scenario is that it's pretty useless for cutting food. The handle was very sharp and he couldn't get a good grip on it without gloves. It looks like it was also very heavy, since all he had to do was just let it fall on the cucumber. Bismuth is pretty flaky for a metal, and cutting food that you'll eat with it isn't wise. Would've made for an amazing display piece, though.

I was doing research, Bismuth can be toxic if used through prolonged periods of time. Meaning that using this knife to cut every chicken and veggies during 1 month could be dangerous. And if exposed to heat it can intoxicate through vapors, so no thank you, but you could definitely use it to sculp wood, chop grass, take care of the garden.
