XG is a 7 member Japanese global girl group aged currently 18-22 formed by XGALX. They speak Japanese and Korean fluently, and English (to varying degrees, Maya is completely fluent in English). They dance, rap, and sing. Officially there's 4 Rappers and 3 Vocalists, but the rappers can all sing as well. Influenced by TLC, Destiny's Child, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Madonna, Rihanna, Spice Girls, etc.

For those new to XG, XG's concept is that they are aliens. Hesonoo means "umbilical cord" representing their connection to each other making them 7 individuals but acting as 1 which is mentioned in the next song X-Gene which is their reanimation / rebirth sequence from Hesonoo. Hesonoo and X-Gene have an official performance MV which is a must see. The Girl Gang video was intentionally short. A consistent part of their MVs is the "eyes" which reveals their alien nature specially in TGIF. New Dance MV has 2 versions, the second version was shot in the US together with their choreographer and backup dancers. The place where they teleported to at the end of New Dance is called the "colony" according to Cocona and it's seen again in their MV for Winter Without You. So much to discover about XG and you will keep wanting more. Want to know them better, they have XG Days, XTRA XG (Documentary), XGlee Club, XG MOVES,XG VOX, XG Tapes, GALZ XYPHER. All worth watching.

They're THE REAL DEAL. So XG consist of 7 members with 4 rappers (Jurin,Cocona, Harvey, Maya) and 3 vocalist (Juria,Hinata,Chisa). Each unit did a lot of rap and vocal cover. Highly recommenf you to watch their MV first tho. Try Tippy toes, mascara, Shooting star, left right. Also i hope that you could turn up the music volume more :)

Although their music has kpop elements and their company is in Korea, they are not kpop, since all the members are japanese and most of their music is inspired by R&B, hiphop, and pop especially from the 90's. Also there songs are mostly in english. Sorry to correct anyone.
