Hey there guys! In these set of videos, the allyl alcohol is rotated differently compared in your textbook/notes so that (+) DET stereoisomer would appear "above" and the (-) DET would attack from below. This was intentionally tweaked so it would be easier for us to remember that (+) sign will be always "above". So this will work as long as we rotate the allyl alcohol the way it was shown in the video.

This has it backwards. Position the alkene such that it mirrors the orientation of your right hand outstretched. Your thumb representing the alcohol group. In this orientation, (P)alm side represents the + (p)ositive side, - (n)egative representing the k(n)uckle side addition.

sorry bro...you are mislading peoples.....in order to know where the epoxidation will happen you need to arrange the OH parallel to the doublebond and then use the Left hand or Right hand law to predict the epoxidation route.
