I come back here once in awhile to see if there's an update. :-) That single screw/touch of glue handle attachment looks like an accident waiting to happen! Some day at full draw that base will come back to greet you! It would be MUCH stronger to dovetail the handle into the base and gluing the handle in this way. Have a slight lit on the handle to but up and create a stop so the grip bottoms out, and maybe even reinforce it all with a wooded cover plate on top of the base, with TWO screws into the handle. Glad to hear it. I'm trying to up my posting to two videos a month. So content will be coming out more frequently! You are of course correct, but I had no tools at this time. This was almost 4 years ago now, I had like a saw and a drill lol. And I honestly didn't really know what I was doing. Probably should have made it a build instead of a tutorial.

SharpshooterJD after the test vs handguns? honestly im thinking of making one to keep as a "less lethal" home defense weapon, a 50cal lead ball out of one is like a good hard blow with a ball peen hammer.

Not sure, but since he is so popular, everything he does gets emulated. Definitely. They can be extremely powerful, and potentially lethal, so treat them with cation, and I would highly recommend you to never shoot them at living things. However if your alternative is a gun, this could be a better, less lethal option.
