Amazing.. Just wondering would you be abke to show a material with peel effect. Like old wall with wallpaper....
@sharpstance14177 жыл бұрын
It's the same logic as this one, just use a different mix of materials and different heights depending on what you're after but it's basically how you'll do the masks that's the trick. I did a peel painted metal in the past so you can check that as well

Awesome video, big thanks, I thought I followed it perfectly, but when doing the normals, realized that the bricks are over the gravel and not undernith. Could you point me out where to look to fix it, because I've been trying to finde where I messed up, but cant finde the mistake. Thanks again.

Thanks, will check it out. Also, I already read a comment of a guy asking you if you could do a peeled paint or wallpaper material, but I think the begginer 3d artists community will be really thankfull if you could do one, because they are really hard to manage, but if done right gives a big plus for the viewer, not saying there are not any tutorial out here in KZbin, aside from 2 that already exist but only do a quick overview. Thanks again.

Could you try somekind of an mosaic tile? I saw a desk, with a blue mosaic (in the middle a star with 6 edges and around it 3 shapes, a little like horns) and I didn't knew how to create it, so it would be perfectley tileable.
@sharpstance14177 жыл бұрын
I did a mosaic in the past so you can check that, I can't visualize the one you mention here so if you have any reference it would help

I Tried out your material, and for some reason it works fine in designer, but when i use it in painter it causes painter to hang for like 5 minutes, then the whole computer is unusable. Any ideas?
@sharpstance14177 жыл бұрын
It could be the material is unoptimized for runtime use :)
