I love Lauren so much. She is seriously one of the kindest and warmest people I have ever met. Her music and the conversations I've had with her at shows have helped me astronomically. I'm so glad she's still here and I'm glad I am too.

Omg this story is literally out of this world but pertaining to the sexual assault and disrespect, I can relate so much. To this day, I fear relationships, crushes and even trust. Lauren you are beyond amazing, I love your lyrics and you inspire myself among many others. Screaming and growling makes me feel very safe but I still get a bit discouraged by "friends" besides that I feel much better compared to my past. Thank you Lauren and thank you to HeartSupport as well.

WOW. powerful. this is some heavy shit. any one of these things can put so much pressure on your shoulders. people don't understand how much heavy music can help the physical side effects of mental health issues. i got into metal as a teen for the same reason she did... just louder screaming. it gave me respite. i hope i can watch this band & lauren kashan grow.

I saw her open for As It Is on the Great Depression tour in February. She was amazing! At that time I didn’t know what she sang about, just found the songs awesome! But than I knew later on she sang about her experiences and rape! Cause a few weeks after the show I myself got raped by a boy from my college, that I dropped out of college in fear and cried hard for a few days after visiting the hospital to get shots and pills for birth control and disease preventions. I also called police on that my now ex boy who did this to me, and they are now after him. I myself wish to pursue a career in music, and draw in my free time when I don’t sing/ scream, or play guitar. She inspires me everyday to become another female screamer with my own stories too!

@KoaAbyss6 жыл бұрын
why not?
@captcorleone26066 жыл бұрын
KoaAbyss For one, I find their sound absolutely atrocious. I think Lauren is a terrible vocalist. Second, I do not care if a band disagrees with him, but their straight up disrespect towards President Trump is not something I will support. Same reason I no longer support Stray From the Path or The Devil Wears Prada. Third-which sort of connects to my second reason-is their full-blown SJW far alt-left ANTIFA political alignment with the inability to see past their own take on things. I do not care where a band aligns themselves, but if it is full-blown SJW fascist ANTIFA (ironic, is it not? ANTIFA being the fascists) supporting (like with Stray From the Path), I will not support it, and that is where Sharptooth seems to line up. Issues made an entire song based on the "hands up, don't shoot" false narrative, but I have no problem with them because they are not toxic in the way they conduct themselves. As well, any band that uses "mansplain" non-ironically is... something else, to say the least. Then there is the fact that Lauren-while I do not doubt she has had some traumatic experiences-embelishes a bit. There is just a whole lot that goes into my dislike for Sharptooth. I think they could be a great band with a new vocalist and a change in attitude, but as it stands, no support from me.
@KoaAbyss6 жыл бұрын
@@captcorleone2606 that's a whole lotta info lol I'm pretty unaware of this band aside from that I don't like the vocals, where exactly did you find that they're so into the left and stuff?
@captcorleone26066 жыл бұрын
Terrible sound: personal opinion. Hate for President Trump: Song. kzbin.info/www/bejne/enKmc4moe7-gZ8k Anti-Trump tour where they call him a "fascist," "racist," and "sexist" amongst other things. bringthenoise.com/blog/anti-flag-and-stray-from-the-path-announce-massive. SJW-ness: The use of "mansplain" and "fuckboy" in their toxic 3rd wave feminist anthem. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4ecko1mZ6ijpJI Their support of mentally ill people on the frontlines of our military twitter.com/sharptoothmd/status/925059318218620928 Anti-capitalist (in one of the most capitalist industries in the world)/socialist Bernie supporters. twitter.com/sharptoothmd/status/913891553260785664 And because they have made their positions so clear, that is why I think Lauren embellishes her abuse, at least to a point. The SJW left calls everything sexual assault. If she was legitimately assaulted, that is disheartening, but this a case of the boy who cried wolf. When everything from a look to a shoulder touch to regrettable sex is considered "sexual assault," it is hard to believe real victims.
