To improve the performance of your arbor press, remove the rack and grind off the bottom two teeth. This allows you to raise the arbor and ratchet the handle up, so that you have the handle 90 degrees to your work.

Thanks for the idea and input, I really appreciate it! I’m always willing to learn something new in the shop. I’ll probably modify the little arbor press in the near future! It really has been a long time since I used an arbor press and the rust on my skills show…lol….@jimfiles3307 an outstanding day!
