100% agree with the shoulders. They bothered me immediately and are holding me back from getting these. They look absolutely fantastic when in the perfect pose though, and I absolutely love the paintwork and detail on the weapons (Dat spinning nunchuck). I'll probably just buy one to see what they're like (Leo, because he's my favorite turtle, and well, pizza). I did customize the basic Playmates turtles to give them a grungier, comic look, so having a cartoon accurate Nick Turtle wouldn't hurt. Good review, I may or may not be $60 poorer soon

I felt they were a bit overpriced even at $50 shipped which is what I could have got them for via pre-order from Japan. Definitely cool figures once you get them posed and positioned right though, you did a really good job posing them.

I think the shoulders look weird too, but these are still cool! But $60? If I ever get these it'll be in 2 or 3 years when they're like 15 bucks a piece. I want these so bad to make stop motions, but I'm only 12 and I have younger siblings, so they would be broken in 2 weeks. But I'm not complaining, I have the NECA figures and I think they're 100 times better :) And my favorite turtles are Raph and Mikey because I relate to them the most.

Japanese collectors figure prices don't work like that. They get more expensive as time passes. It's because they're not mass produced and are in very limited quantities. The prices go up as the months pass. In 2 or 3 years they could be 100 bucks a piece. Trust me, I've been collecting Japanese figures for years. Just think of each figure as a SDCC exclusive. This is why many of us by two of every figure: one to keep, and one to sell 2 or 3 years later to guys buying them late.

These are so amazing! I get why they are so expensive, they seem like very impressive action figures (although I've never had any action figures ever). They are beautifully designed in my opinion, but again I am not an expert haha. I am 15 and my fav turtle is Mikey and I can't wait to eventually buy him and see all of the cool poses he can do! I'm honestly SURPRISED that Revoltech did a good job on these. As theyre known for splotchy paint applications. Not cleanly. What I hate about Revoltech is the joints, theyre fix position joints and not free position joints like Figma joints for example. And dude, the waist joint is not meant to turn side to side, just crunch forward and back, when in a episode do any of them turn around at waist??? They have hard back shells!!! They turn their head and body. Sometimes I don't know why you tend compare Japanese figures or other figures to Marvel Legends. The Japanese beat America in creating/making toys/figures! Thanks to you I have to get these too! Pricey, but worth as they seem to me! Sucks that i'll have to spend extra more for a second Mikey just to have two spinning effects. Should of came with two already!!!!! Damn corporate greed, making me buy another one of their products to complete one. But over all, great review!
