Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The Doc Ock marvel legends figure is a Spider-man: No way home figure. The design of Doc Ock is based off of No way home but they had to market it as a Spider-man 2 figure because they didn’t have Alfred Molina’s rights to make a No way home action figure. They used his rights all the way back from 2004 to make this figure and that’s why it’s labeled as Spider-man 2 and not Spider-man: No way home.

I had an idea for a mod for this figure for the arm claws on the top set. Basically, drill two holes where the arms articulate in the movie, cut the joint and add a pin. Boom, full articulated claws

The strength in those tentacles is great, and I really love the likeness of Alfred Molina (who I thought was excellent in both movies)! And kudos to you Shartimus for reminding everyone that old Toybiz can still give present-day Hasbro a run for their money (I still think the Toybiz Luke Cage is better than Hasbro's recent release of "Mr Blank Stare")... He does wear a turtleneck in that scene, but it wasn't black it was burgundy. That doesn't matter, though. After he becomes Doc Ock and has his signature look/costume on, he doesn't wear a turtleneck. He is bare-chested. He sometimes zips up the inner brown trench coat so his chest is covered, as Shartimus mentions, but he has nothing on underneath.

If you want good doc ock reads, I recommend Superior Spiderman, Amazing spiderman 131, and Web of spiderman 4-5. Doc Ock isn't really sympathetic like Molina's version and is usually a straight up tool. But these stories explore his mind and way of thinking really well

Hair dryer, sometimes you can use hot water but I wouldn't recommend that unless you want to take him a part. Water might rust the bendy wire in his tentacles.

My bottom right arm came out of the package loose and he couldn't stand up, then when I looked at it more, it was broken. The plastic had started to tear. Pretty disappointed in the quality from some figures lately

I really love the figure and I really wish it and I really wish it came with two pair of tentacles one is the tentacles that has the iron spider nanotechnology that he ripped out of the front of the suit and another pair is the one with the white light to replicate that our Peter Parker cure Doc Ock by fixing his inhibitor chip that was damaged in Spider-Man 2.
