ShartKart Gets Blown! 1.8l Swap + Supercharger on our $200 Miata

Not to be outdone by Sh*tcar, ShartKart is also part of our SEMA 2018 evolution program. So we took the tired old mill out of our $200 Miata, put in a bigger engine, a blower, and some Haltech goods to make it all play nice. This thing should RIP after Danger Dan and Bad Daddy Braddy are done with it.

I just threw away one of those Duratec30 engines. Spun a bearing in my Mazda6 back in 2006, and there were no rebuild kits for it. :( Been dreaming of putting it in a Miata for years, but after 12 years in storage, I finally had to quit being a hoarder and ditch it. It weighs as much as an LS, (Making the LS the more sensible swap,) but it sure sounds nice in the Miata.

The 1.8L was needed even if you could still use the 1.6L because the 1.6L unless its built cant make over 300hp but the 1.8L can get up to 500hp but i think it will get close to 360hp-375hp maybe more
