Shart cart is my favorite car at hoonagin doughnut garage! Dan, I think you should heat wrap the exhaust manifold and then wrap a blanket around the pipe for the air intake so that your intake temperatures are super cold.

I just threw away one of those Duratec30 engines. Spun a bearing in my Mazda6 back in 2006, and there were no rebuild kits for it. :( Been dreaming of putting it in a Miata for years, but after 12 years in storage, I finally had to quit being a hoarder and ditch it. It weighs as much as an LS, (Making the LS the more sensible swap,) but it sure sounds nice in the Miata.

The 1.8L was needed even if you could still use the 1.6L because the 1.6L unless its built cant make over 300hp but the 1.8L can get up to 500hp but i think it will get close to 360hp-375hp maybe more
