Great stills, great music, sound bites, and awesome footage! The last scene making way up from the valley at dusk, with the lights of a thousand buses.... so inspiring! Love this video. Thank you Kristen!

I would love to do something like this here in Indiana, but folks here seem be duds lol! And of course we don’t have a pile of splitty owners to choose from, nor the epic scenery! I have two but I’m a weirdo!

marcijunebug I bet you have some great spots, just have to take the back roads and find them. Sounds like fun

Where I live, Palo Alto California, you don't see many split window VWs. But when I do see one more often than not it's been restored like something from Gabriel Iglesias garage. But you wouldn't take a show car on the SST. My guess is that in the future the unrestored vans will be a rarity.

I guess all these water crossings means that a few of these vans are finally water cooled!?

Don't you have to tune those up(including adjusting the valves cold) every 3,000 miles?
