A group of Tibetan youths in Ladakh's Sonamling settlement have created an oasis to nurture readers among Tibetan children in one of the most remote Tibetan refugee clusters in exile.
Readers and reading, they say, can mitigate many of the social problems and upheavals. So their community library aims to band together to eliminate "reading poverty", one child and one book at a time.
