I was involved in a case at the.old Bailey in the late 70s. The cells just not you with history. Another unusual thing about that court is,you walk up some stairs about 20?and when you get to the top,you are standing in the dock🤔And the court is full of people in white wigs. Really scared you. I got a not guilty thank God. But I will never forget that place.

The security measures getting the men to the old Bailey building. Was a serious situation and the situation in which they had been taken was very rare. They had pulled out their big boys and were not taking any chances. They definitely delivered the task well and got them to court. But the situation in today’s task is very different and you don’t see that action. You see big police cases now and then but they didn’t take any chances today

This handing up of yokes is a Irish thing as far as I'm aware. From my time, in the eighties through to the nineties. This was a thing in Dublin at that time. It's not something that's talked about because it's very near to cooperating with old Bill. It's a thin line between this and grassing. It worked, i know that much. I would hazard a guess and say it still. One yoke equals either a reduced or a stay out jail card.

@@jimbanda loads in Manchester, range rovers,discoveries,tiquans etc they have all the high powered cars for traffic also S3’s, Golf R’s etc. I was chased off a suburu back in the day (Salford police) I was on a 100cc speed fighter moped with no brakes 😂 I lost them down an alleyway. Everybody survived the silliness thankfully. The Police had a lot of Rover and Cortina's cars that time with the rounded blue light on top , fond memories of great times 🙏
