Fantastic feet, balance and acceleration. Not sure how he'd do in union though. He relies on open field play and targeting forwards. In Union backs are more off set plays, less space, more structure to moves, not as many offloads and second-runners. Not saying he's not a talent, he clearly is, but he may be ruined by union. He's not the biggest so the best place would be wing, and out there you may not get much ball. He wouldn't be big enough for centres and won't have all round game for stand-off.

+bodhid considering his speed, vision, command, kicking skills, ability to attack the line at pace, stepping ability... yes wing would suit but I would rather prefer him at Fullback or 1st Five. Although he would need to practice his skills under high ball and ruck and maul situations. He could become a devastating attacker in Fullback position, he has a similar skill set to the great Christian Cullen. It's a shame they've never trialled Shaun at fullback in the NRL, I've always wanted to see how he would do in that position.
