So beautiful! I can't wait to visit one day. My mother lived in Blantyr as a child, shuttled back and forth between Blantyr and London during the war.

Ah, the highlands of Scotland! Childhood home of Duncan MacLeod, born in 1592 and still alive in 1992! 🙂 Someday I shall make a pilgrimage to Scotland because of Highlander the Series! I will stay at the Glenuig Inn -- which in the series was depicted as being in Glenfinnan, but it's actually 17 miles away, regardless they did actually record the show there -- and eat the most Scottish thing they serve there 🙂

The view of the clouds over the water is haunting. It makes something in my soul ache.

I've never seen a stainless steel tub like that before! Most Canadians that have one, myself included, have the white enamel ones. The only reason I don't have a TV over my bathtubs is because I bring in my laptop to watch KZbin or Netflix while I'm soaking in the tub. Heather xo

I was blessed to be in Scotland last September! I was in Aviemore after a weekend in Drumnadrochit. I spent a day in Edinburgh, but spent a few around Paisley and Glasgow.

“A 45 minute charge.” Ouch. That will need to come down to 5 minutes before I would ever consider an EV.
@shaunvlogКүн бұрын
Honestly, when I stop to charge I usually need the bathroom by that point anyway. By the time I plug in, use bathroom, grab a coffee and head back out, it’s usually almost done

My first full day when I went to visit a friend near Aberdeen, her son asked me to travel around to job sites with him to keep him awake. We went from Inverurie to Dinwally loch Ericht and then over to Fort William, and on the way home, we skipped Perth and just went to Dundee and then back home again. Loch Ericht and Ben Alder was probably the most beautiful part of the whole day, even if I couldn't get out of the van and explore! That day had the best weather of the whole trip too!

Shaun, I see the Glenuig Inn has a "glenuig stack" which has hamburger, a haggis fritter, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion.....haggis is pretty Scottish, yes? Maybe I would order that lol. apparently they fry the haggis in whiskey, is that traditional? 🙂

Shaun, I'll be in Scotland for only 3 days in May. Planning on driving to Inverness and staying one night then back down to Edinburgh. Am I crazy? Lol
@natdatil68302 күн бұрын
I was in Edinburgh and Inverness this summer. I'm not sure I'd be satisfied with only one afternoon in Inverness. You need to go to Culloden, Loch Ness, Dunrobin Castle, and so many other places. If possible, take the train to Inverness. It's a lovely journey, and more enjoyable without the job of driving there.

@natdatil6830 thank you for the suggestion!

Answering what question? I love your travel vids but making ominous titles just for clicks is kind of annoying dude, sorry. I would never dislike because you put a lot of effort in your vids but I loathe clickbait. Hope you guys are doing well.
@LindaC6162 күн бұрын
People have been asking what his parents' house is looking like. That's the question.. that's not clickbait. Granted, he does do that sometimes, but not this time
@starbrite088Күн бұрын
The title is still unnecessarily cryptic. That is what clickbait is. If the video is about the house, then just say it in the title. I agree with OP that it turns me off from content creators when they do this.
