You started mentioning Puerto Rican food and my mouth started to water. The other day at my workplace we had a cookout for all the coworkers and it was so good! Pasteles and arroz con gandules and lechón 🤤 like always a masterclass in straight razor shaving my friend!

@@seanstapelfeld ya but you can just go down the street and have all the wonderful food. Alcapurias, bacalitos, dulce de coco, pan y queso de bola. Tostones, arroz con todo, pernil. I have to go now. I am drooling 🤣🤣🤣

Dave, I just watched this video. Great as usual. I have a few questions for you. How can I find the SRS series videos? I can get a BBS shave with either my Mercur or Edwin Jaeger DE razors without any stinging. I cannot get that close a shave with my straight razors and have plenty of stinging afterwards. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, The videos Dave linked you will really help you with your sr shaves. With comfort and getting good shaves, depend on practice and the quality of your razor's edge. It took me a while to figure out that I was being heavy handed, and the irritation that I was getting was from that. The angle of your razor against your face will also affect the post shave feel. So if you pay attention to your angles will help keep irritation down. Then you have the finish quality of your edge; depending on what stone was used and amount of attention to detail, will affect your post shave feel. BigEric at the cajun blade has great videos on razor finishing processes. I hope this helps you.
