Great feedback on the razor Bluegrass. Cades Cove on the bike is the way to go. Love the park in the spring. Took our 3 boys there every year for Thanksgiving 🦃 when they were young. Good memories - great landscape and biology/biodiversity.

Fun stories and an enjoyable shave. MWS made an orange spice that was almost exactly like Constant Comment tea, and I just loved it. Russian Tea sounds like it would be another great scent! I know it's 2 days later now, so I hope you trip was fun and a picnic with Abbie and the Mrs. was a great time!

Soap sounds wonderful Dave! That razor is quite audible. Only Pasteurs and TRC have this release, but as of today Frank has a lot of Russian Tea in stock at Ethos so if people are patient there is plenty to be had! Have a great weekend my friend!

Nice shave Dave Yaqi recently launched a tea series shaving brushes. Muhle stf inspired synthetic knots. I recently picked up Wolfman clones by Dscosmetic - Dscosmetic ax-se - three plates with a choice of handle - all under $25 shipped. I will keep you posted as and when I receive the soap. Thanks again Dave.

Cool! Oh man, t-shirts drive me nuts! There's only a couple of methods that actually work and most are using a computer print method and after washing for a while, you'll have a plain t shirt again. Hahaha! Cool razor! I commented on the Kenyon on Matthew's channel and also the super cool Weck I missed out on! Well maybe I'll get in on the Russian tea! I looked at a couple of recipes and one of them was the 70's version using Brisk instant tea, Tang, and spices-lol! I don't think that's the one Frank did! Have a great one!

I want that soap/splash combo but I hate supporting a company that charges so much for their products. I can afford it but it just enables over charging. Other vendors will follow suit.
@daveinky24 күн бұрын
@@sellitman Not selling it to you but don't call it overcharging until you learn how it's made and the cost of the natural ingredients. I'm the last to overpay for something and I have 13 soap sets from him. A little research goes a long way. Cheers

@@daveinky My response came across as a bit hostile. I didn't mean to imply that you were trying to sell me anything. I buy from many artisan soap makers, and they're all as proud of their products as I'm sure Frank is. Except for a few exceptions, none of them charge $40.00 or more for their entire line. I'm sure his soaps are excellent, and I mentioned that I wanted to buy the Russian Tea because of his great reputation and the scent. So, it's clear that I like high-quality products. I apologize if I offended you. That wasn't my intention. I was just stating the obvious. - Kevin
@daveinky24 күн бұрын
@@sellitman And I may have come across as defensive. My apologies. Many have accused Frank of charging too much as some in the past have done that. The difference is in the ingredients being natural and costly to make and therefore more to purchase. I will say there have been people make the accusations and do a 180 turn after trying the products and seeing the benefits to there skin conditions. It has NOT been like that for me. I could shave with arko and be fine but I do enjoy his products. Again my apologies if I was defensive.

By chance did you make an offer on a toggle yesterday?
@daveinkyАй бұрын
@@kcb5150 Not me. Still never shaved with one, don't have one and made no offer. I'd like one but leery of one not functioning well and at a crazy price. What made you think it was me ?
@kcb5150Ай бұрын
@@daveinkyHandle began with a d and it was from KY. It was one of those weird offers where it would leave me in the red on eBay with the fees and insuring it but off the bay it may have worked to cover. No worries, it was worth an ask just to make sure. Btw, I got an absolute load of safety razors in. Lots of modern stuff I am not well versed in like timeless, charcoal, razorock, Rockwell, some weird Russian stainless razor. A lot of things to try. Also finally sourced a red dot Fatboy and a Williams. Two things I never found somehow. I am having a jeweler friend laser weld a small split in one of the Williams' latches and then I will give it a go.
@daveinkyАй бұрын
@@kcb5150 williams is a cool razor although a mild one. Interested in the Charcoal depending on the version...

@@daveinky I THINK it is a lvl 2 copper with a magnum handle. Also got a stainless charcoal maze handle. Do you know if anyone ever made a handle that was damn near that of the la shaving bbs-1? I got what seems like a bbs-1 handle but the size of the diamonds seems slightly off vs what I see online. I will make a private video when I have a chance and send it your way.
