Deleting the side moldings makes cars look so much cleaner, also knowing they would come from factory like that is a plus too

Some cars do look strange without side molding though.

Yeah but those side molding will save your car from dings from idiots at parkings making dings on your doors

I'm a huge fan of shaved moldings. Of course being in the salt belt in eastern Canada they're just a salt collector and a great home for rust. Keep up the amazing work brother.

Seen a ton of your content, the 4 door hatch is how I found your channel. Every styling decision youve made pretty much in line with how I would do it. Got a 9th gen Si on some SA3Rs (even our wheel styles are similar) I'd love for you to repsray one day.

I prefer taking the trims off and making the door look clean and smooth. Back in the early 2000's when max power was huge, fast and furious was out, everyone was putting daft "jap" kits on cars but me and my mate's preferred what we called the euro look. Fairly plain amd simple, clean looking but I know from trying to weld a couple of doors that the metal can warp way too easily so stopped doing it for that reason alone. Love your channel since I first seen Taylor's la miata in your garage. Makes me want to get back into body work but the weather here in Scotland is never nice unless you have a proper heated environment that costs money to keep

I'm a big fan of shaving side moldings, I actually did that to one of my cars, right before I painted it. I never thought of that tip you gave about taping the body line, so when I did it I got a bit of filler in it, what a pain in the ass it was to sand it all out of there. Nice work man!

@@pixelPantsuu I hit him up on ig a month ago he basically told me he can't match the bumpers to the color of my car, the car is fully painted already but both front and rear bumpers need repair then paint....
@brokemanracing56445 жыл бұрын
Paint matching the bumpers to the car requires repainting and blending part of the rear panels to make it look the same if u paint the front and rear bumper but don’t blend panels to the new paint it will not look the same the shading will be off and you’ll notice
@GeneralSlev5 жыл бұрын
Do you paint the metal squares from thr back side when you finished welding them in? So they dont rust?
@coachmcguirkmrs88055 жыл бұрын
What is that liquid you used to clean grime and dirt from where the wing was and the side mouldings
@BodeVision5 жыл бұрын
Coach Mcguirk it’s just wax and grease removers to help soften the glue, the a razor blade pulls the glue off. I don’t care if it scratches it since it’s all being sanded down. If I wasn’t going to be painting it, they make a special wheel for a drill that removes stuff like that. It’s a yellow rubber wheel
