i noticed you mentioning on another video how using a straight razor is safe once you know how. I was 4 years old when my grandfather handed me his straight razor and told me he would give me 25 cent to shave him. I did it until he passed away when i was 14. I still have his straight razor but when i showed my children .. they thought it was a scapel lmao.

It's fine to list ethnicity of your clients - it let's people see what they're results may look like But just a note from an esthetician - skin color and skin type are not the same. If you are wanting to convey what services work for which skin types you need to put skin type indicators like dry, oily, sensitive, acneic, textured etc

I have been shaving my face for years. I will have people tell me I have beautiful skin. Now I know why they tell me this! When I was younger I would not use moisturizer. I thought I had oily skin. Now I know that if I had used moisturizer, my skin would not have gotten oily (T-zone) to try and get moisture to my face. I spent too long drying out my face. Now I only moisturize, and it feels so good.

@dakotareib

@@cjadventures8840 Anything with hyaluronic acid, snail mucin, and glycerin are great for moisturizers. Hyaluronic Acid/HA hydrates/draws water molecules into your skin, snail mucin is anti bacterial/blemish fighting and moisturizes, promotes collagen production, and heals/soothes; and glycerin helps your skin to retain moisture. I’ll recommend some down below from most expensive to least I’d recommend: • The Stratia Liquid Gold (moisturizes, strengthens, and soothes skin with ceramides, niacinamide, sea buckthorn oil, glycerin and squalene. Because of the squalene and oil keep in mind this is not oil free and may feel heavier but is very nourishing) • COSRX All-in-One cream (main ingredient in snail mucin and hyaluronic acid which is great for hydrating, moisturizing, and soothing all while being extremely acne safe and oil free) • Neutrogena Hydro Boost (water based/oil free, has hyaluronic acid and glycerin) • Peach slices Snail Rescue all-in-one oil free moisturizer (hydrating, blemish fighting, exfoliating, and healing with snail mucin, HA, cica, and birch juice) • The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (simple and easy. You can’t go wrong with this one’s ingredients and price point. Has HA, ceramides, glycerin, lactic acid, fatty acids, and is oil free) I’d overall recommend this one but choose what feels right for you

I like that you show how you prep the skin first and even use some gel if necessary. I watched someone else's video of face shaving and you could hear the blade sxlcratching the face. I dont think that is good, because i have tried face shaving on myself with the eyebrow razors when my skin was very dry. It irritated my skin and i ended up with a break out. I did not prep my skin first.
