Very nice job! I just turned my first brush from Zebra wood today. I'm finishing it tomorrow & if it comes out half as good as yours I'll be very happy with it.

I do have a few ready for sale. Do you have a design or a brush type (synthetic, boar hair, badger hair) that you're interested in?
@Justmyopinionlol6 жыл бұрын
you do a good job with the gluing, most of the brushes I bought on etsy have the glue oozing out of the rim of the holder, which make them look very amateurish not like the brushes from top makers like Kent and Muhle.

I, too, would like to know where to get a chuck like that.
@wildbill23c9 жыл бұрын
+Jason Swearingen Its called a bottle stopper chuck. Pennstate Industries carries them along with the drill bit. You can find it here: www.pennstateind.com/store/PK-BS1-MJ.html?gclid=COLwubOtpcgCFUuVfgodlSwO8A. Also, depending on your lathe you may need an adapter for your headstock. This chuck is threaded for a 1" x 8TPI headstock but Pennstate Industries also carries various headstock adapters and you can find them here: www.pennstateind.com/store/spindle-adapters.html

+Tom Zmuda Its called a bottle stopper chuck. You can find it here: www.pennstateind.com/store/PK-BS1-MJ.html?gclid=COLwubOtpcgCFUuVfgodlSwO8A. Depending on the headstock's spindle on your lathe you may also need a spindle adapter and you can find them here: www.pennstateind.com/store/spindle-adapters.html. This particular chuck is threaded for a 1" x 8TPI spindle.

P&G will immediately stop using badger hair in its Art of Shaving business, which will sell its remaining inventory of shave brushes and switch to synthetic bristles. YOU SHOULD ALSO!
