I like how she grooms . Long slow strokes with the clipper to minimize going over the same area with multiple strokes. Maybe it’s ok but I worry the dogs skin might get irritated. I could be totally wrong.

You are all beyond amazing. We have 3 standard poodles and 2 minis I groom them every 4 weeks bath every 2 and brush 3-4 times a week. They are a lot of work but as you said the best addition to our life ! People do not deserve dogs ! You are 100% right!!!! They are the best

I wish I could give you all a huge hug. You have given those dogs an opportunity to live pain free for months hopefully. That is a precious gift. I know it must be so frustrating to see this happen again and again. You can only do so much and every time I see the dogs being groomed in your salon, they start as very unhappy and scared and end up so happy and relaxed. Thank you for all you do.

I'm so lucky with my Westie mix. We get him groomed once a year in the summer (we're in Texas) and that's about it besides nail trimming. His ears stay clean by themselves, he rarely gets mats, he doesn't shed, etc. Even the summer trim is probably unnecessary because dogs regulate their temperature through their feet or something not like we do. The trim is more for my wife's peace of mind.

I have a Lhasso King Charles mix that I have learned to groom years ago by watching videos like yours. He had a very bad experience with a groomer as a puppy & since then ive done him myself. Thank you for educating in a tender and loving way how to groom our most valued companions. My little guy is now diabetic, blind and deaf so he only trusts me for everything. I'm a lay person, home groomer, groomed my own dogs for years, however, do use a professional sometimes. My new clipper attachments leave lines in the fur, my biggest complaint doing it myself. Enjoy your channel!

Maybe suggest owners buy a basic clipper and show them how to use it. I only have you tube as a teacher, but do good comfort cuts on my babies. Beautiful, no, but comfy. I have an Andis Whisper Quiet clipper set. My husband takes them in the shower with him, LOL.

The hair was incredibly matted! How else would one be able to remove when it is as badly matted as such as these dogs vs. those who've never been matted as badly as this? You would understand that when it is so badly matted, that it is nearly impossible to leave longer hair on them.

I bathe my dog every week and she gets groomed after her bath. What I am *terrible* at is clipping her nails! All of her nails are black except for one white one. It is hard to see how far to cut without hurting her & it is hard to get her to hold still. I usually pay my vet to clip her nails when I take her for her allergy shot. If you could teach me to be confidant clipping her nails - that would be priceless!

One of the rules I have in life is: to stay away from people who don't care about their own pets. I find those people repulsive. My dogs are everything for me. My furry babies. I lost 2 in the last 5 years and it's devastating. Hopefully I'll be able to adopt another furry baby in the future, life without these precious creatures is definitely more sad and boring.
