My wife bought me the rose gold r41 a couple months after i started DE shaving not knowing the aggression level. It was scary the first week but i haven't stopped using it as my daily shaver almost two years later. I pair it with a feather as you did. I've found that i can get a single pass WTG shave that is more than acceptable. Any other razor requires at least a second XTG pass.

I had a shave with my new muhle R41 with a Wilkinson sword blade. And it worked great had no nicks or irritation. I also used my new unlimited kensurf synthetic shaving brush. It was a wonderful shave brush. I’m going to receive your Sinatra Lennon coffee mug tomorrow. I’m very excited to get it.

I recently bought an R41 head, I use it with my 6s handle. As long as your technique is solid (which it is) I think that you will come to really appreciate the efficiency of that razor - I was apprehensive at first, but I am truly loving this thing...Cheers from Chicagoland!

I think the Ikon Tech is even more aggressive than the R41 or the Merkur Vision on the max setting. I feel every bit of the blade. I kinda like it though. "That's where the food goes." Funny shave! Thank you.

As someone who strives for BBS I can enjoy the Muhle R41 Shaves. Because there’s two different kinds of BBS. The first kind is when you make the nothing face and feel all around and itssmooth. Nothing faces when you just make a normal face, don’t frown or smile. The second kind of BBS is when you make the ooh face 😱 when you open your mouth wide and then feel all around and it’s baby but smooth in every direction. That’s a 100% BBS. When you stretch your face and thoughs tough to reach microscopic hairs are gone. And the R-41 gives me that! Yeah it took a long while to get Great at it but it was worth it. I don’t have to shave for about 3 days lol

This razor is a godsend! Just used it for the first time this morning with a feather blade and have never had a better shave. Fully recommend for thick ginger hair👍. Always had very painful shaves with cartridge razors, because of that I ended up using an electric razor with less than satisfactory results. Only recently discovered DE shaving and bought a Wilkinson Sword Classic, but it was the same story, very nearly gave up before I read up on this beauty. Have only been shaving with safety razors for about a week now, so please don't be afraid of this combination if you're struggling with milder stuff. Also great video, these are strangely addictive... 🤔😁

love this razor lol with feather blade , have a thick growth and sensitive neck, no redness , no issues, very close shave , ironically the best razor I have ever used, you must use zero pressure, if you don't have a thick growth stay away lol, your videos are great bye the way.

Would like to see you get the chance to try the Merkel 37c or 39c(long handle) slant razor. It has a reputation of being aggressive but I don't think it is. It is more "efficient" than aggressive. I Enjoy your channel.

Curious after seeing several items about the Muhle R 41 I bought it two days ago. I am experienced with DE shaving. After shaving with cartridges for many years I bought first the King C Gillette and got hooked on DE shaving. Then I bought the Muhle R89, wich is also a good razor for me. I shave evers day and have a sensitive skin with light beardgrow. With the R 89 I felt that after some hours the feeling of a close shave was gone. So I bought the R 41. With some fear I did my first shave. The first contact I felt inmediatly how agressive this razor is! You feel the blade (I use the Astra sp).After thee passes I ended with some wounds around my lips. But the feeling was great! I was very smooth and stayed that for many hours. Today I used it again with minimum pressure and had a good shave. But overal I agree with Sinatra Lennon that although it gives a perfect shave its not very relaxed shaving with the R41. So I think I will keep it for sometimes use and will use the R 89 as my daily shaver. Thanks Sinatra Lennon!

Yea, I don't think I'm ready for a razor and blade combo like that just yet. I only shave 2 time a week but I'm sure the EMT's would get tired of making the trip to my house to put my face back on. I'd like to win that green brush though.
