As a father of 2 amazing son’s one is 22 and is currently serving in the U.S army the other is 5 years old. I pray things change and give them the opportunity to achieve what we call the American dream. Things have changed so much. The cost of housing, living, healthcare the list goes on and on. Seems the system wants everyone to live pay check to paycheck and never get ahead to achieve there own slice of the American dream. I pray we all wake up and things change and give our children a rewarding future for there time and sacrifice. This song speaks volumes on what is going on today. Thank you for your amazing song that is touching the many souls hearing it in this world 🌎. Be safe and never forget how we all got here.

I’ve heard this song in so many forms. The original classic, the driving and slightly dark sounding “Me First and the Gimme Gimme’s” version. I did like him at first.. But the more I observe him and look, I see a made-up illuminati puppet for the masses, and that's why he is being promoted on this scale.. People wake up. You are being manipulated and distracted while everything, including free thought, is being stolen from the masses. This equals the Roman Colaseums.. Music Sports Etc is to entertain, and that is defined as to distract in order to detain..

For me this song describes how it feels when my daughter is gone for months at a time. No word if she is okay until she shows up again. She is manic and bipolar, so it is difficult at best to lock the door each night. This song is my expression of this feeling. Your cover of this song is amazing. Your voice, your passion , the instruments you play , all just come together so well and it is such a joy to get to share that brief moment in a day to listen to this and it helps me get through until the next day and so on. Maybe one day she will be in a different place in life and I wont need this song anymore until then , thank you .

Just thought of a thought for the day maybe calling her a maniac and bi polar is part of why she stays away. She’s her and it doesn’t come with extra reasons to make her feel any less (that I’m sure at times she might feel already ) maybe instead of labeling something that she just must have bc u feel something is wrong with her u could simply see all the beauty she possesses and things she does right bc if she’s anything like me (and I get labeled ) (alottttt) she might be doing so much right that it’s hard to not notice her but bc it’s with the wrong people bc she can’t be around the right ones to do it bc it’s too painful to love people so much and all they do is see nothing but negatives and constantly make that the center of all communication and why it’s only negative because it’s not really understandable by some but doesn’t mean it’s negative or wrong and are u truly honest with yourself in the mirror bc we all are perfectly flawed and not even one of us has right to judge someone else’s life especially when you haven’t endured their steps to what they have seen and endured and are still here. (SMILING) I hope!!!!!!!!! The big picture is very seeable if your willing to hold it and look at it with all aspects and all sides from every view and u will get a better understanding of life period. Not minuets just moments. We each choose how we spend them remember that. We chose to be mad or hurt or happy and cheerful. All my love for the best outcome
@smilingfox89782 жыл бұрын
Correction manic not maniac. While your words intention is sage advice they are harsh. You need to practice what you preach and practice compassion. You dont know how they treat their daughter all you know is the laundry they aired in the post. We all need a place to vent. But I get what you are saying. My mom was bipolar and suffered from alcoholism. She is gone now, bless her soul, but I wish I could go back and practice the understanding and compassion she deserved. This person has found solace in a song and simply explaining why it is important to them and you dumped on them. Shame on you!

@@kellsfrancis4136 Here's a thought. All your psycho babble and word-stringing are hollow, cold, meaningless and empty. The OP was expressing how the lyrics to this amazing song resonate with his/her deep and horrible sorrow regarding their lost child. Consider that perhaps, rather than you "triggering" on the OP's use of descriptors,... a TRULY decent and compassionate human might have offered words of solace, comfort, hope, encouragement? Oh,... sorry,... that's right. It's all about you, isn't it?🙄
