Always did love the Kemp loud growls!! He wasn't the Seattle Kemp. But he was still pretty good his first year in Cleveland.

The 97-98 version of Kemp wasn't as flashy as he used to be in his Seattle days but his playmaking and passing ability improved dramatically, he could've remained a very effective point forward type player going forward if he didn't gain so much weight during the lockout.

Kemp's second year with the Cavs when he gained the weight first was his best year for the Cavs. The thing is he continued to gain weight, continued to drink heavy and started to have a drug problem.

These were his prime years his J was more consistent, and he understood the game. He should have never left Seattle. We were stuck with Vin "the pu***" Baker
