Amazing! an incredible musical genius that was Shawn Lane who took the art of guitar playing to another higher level unforeseen is actually "star struck" when he meets his "idol" Alan Holdsworth! Although, Shawn is basically composed maturely as an adult, you can see that youthful excited spark in his eyes and his need to try and contain and control myself. Nothing short of a teenybopper fan actually meeting Davy Jones for the first time. It's totally awesome! To actually meet someone.... personally.... who inspires you deeply? Seriously! What a trip!!! It just ultimately proves the point........ "Even The Masters Have Masters!" Were all in this together!

I met Shawn several years back at Yarbrough's Music. He was putting on a clinic and it had to have been the most incredible thing I had ever seen. Incredibly nice guy. I shook his hand hoping some of the awesome would rub off. Not the case.
