This week's edition of JR9's NXT Round up has arrived: Positives: Axiom & Ethan Page has a really good Iron Survivor to start the night. Axiom as always delivers in the ring & this was easily Ethan's best singles match so far in NXT. Ethan won via a devastating clothesline which Axiom sold really well. It was just 2 talents that had great chemistry together. Glad to see Ethan win again after quite a lot of losses recently. Giulia vs Kelani delivered big to at the start of 2nd hour. One of the best women's TV singles matches this year. Great chemistry & Kelani showed that she can hang with arguably the best female wrestler today in Giulia which is so damn impressive since she's just 2 years into wrestling. Giulia ended up winning via her Northern Lights bomb to qualify for the Iron Survivor which Giulia should win & then finally dethrone Rok-C. Major shoutout to both ladies for putting on the best part of the night & more props to Kelani for looking so good in there with a talent like Giulia. Women's Iron Survivor is stacked so far Sol vs Stephanie vs Zaria vs Giulia & one other (likely Cora or Kelani as their part of last chance qualifier next week). Honestly should MAIN EVENT Deadline as could be one of the best women's matches this year in all of wrestling. Negatives: Liked Ridge stuff with Chase last week but felt they didn't do enough this week coming out of it. Ridge came out to Chase U them & just said very few words before leaving. Guess they wanted a moment to generate heat but it just didn't land. Trick had to come out at that point but instead they saved Trick for later in the night where he also cut a short promo before Ridge came out but both were interrupted by Eric Bischoff who said he's coming to NXT next week & he'll make both of them despise each other even more. So basically nothing developed this week & just feel Bischoff's involvement is really unnecessary. Just feel this missed the chance to properly capitalise on the well done end to NXT last week. Lola won vs Wren Sinclair via spinning backfist. The match was very sloppy Lola in particular not performing well. Post match Lola challenged Jaida to a NXT underground match. Have no interest in another match between the 2. Hardcore one few weeks ago should've ended the story this underground match is a waste of time & will literally just be so Lola can get a win back so 50/50. Just lame writing. Unfortunately Tony D vs Spears was a disappointment. The match was very dull with Tony winning pretty simplistically via his Spinebuster. Post match Spears, Brooks & the new individual Niko attacked him. Very generic booking & just feels nonsense to have the leader Spears losing really easy but then stands tall as if he's a threat. Just stupid plus probably just leads a 6 person tag soon which doesn't seem to intriguing. Last chance Fatal 4 ways were announced by Ava for next week to get the last 2 individuals for the men & women's Iron Survivor. It contains everyone that lost Qualifier over the last few weeks. Absolutely can't stand this & they do it every year so the losers get rewarded with another chance but there's so many people on the roster that didn't even get the chance. Talk about trash writing that makes no sense & devalues the original qualifiers since you can just lose them but still gain a 2nd opportunity. Also a lame tag battle Royal was announced aswell to find #1 Contenders so even more lazy booking. In same segment Eddy Thorpe was complaining to Ava about needing to be in one of the last chance Qualifiers & when Ava tried to leave he spun her around & Ava got angry telling him to never touch her but as she did a member of OTM & Gallus pushed each other into the door & it knocked Ava to the floor. When we came back from break for some reason HBK pushed Eddy all the way into the wall & told him never to touch her. This was weird as if Eddy actually pushed the door then yeah he's to blame but ultimately it was OTM & Gallus. This just didn't work since Eddy was 100% not to blame just more nonsensical writing that never should've been improved. Main Event was frustrating as Fallon retained via a Famouser vs Tatum Paxley after a bit of distraction from Jacy/Jazmyn. Post match Gigi Dolin returned & she & Tatum attacked Fatal Influence to end the night. Very lame end to the show with just bad booking. As earlier in the night Jacy broke Tatum's red headed doll & Tatum said your past will haunt you with someone picking up the doll. From that moment it was obvious it was Gigi & seemed like Tatum was going to win. So for Gigi to only come out AFTER the match is nonsense plus it was the time to pull the trigger on Tatum she is 100 times better than Fallon who has no business being the champion. Fatal Influence is just awful & sucks to say that as a Jacy fan but it's easily one of the worst booked groups in a while. Tatum is too good to be losing to Fallon of all people especially when you setup Gigi to help earlier in the night. As this ultimately benefitted nobody since it was 50/50 booked with the individual that won getting a beatdown. Gigi return was also a bit too obvious. Since NXT made the bad move of having her return at a House Show last Friday. So it was completely spoiled for no good reason should've just saved her 1st public appearance for the actual TV show. Also Fallon once again wore the cowgirl outfit. She literally isn't even trying to fit the group & that is completely unacceptable. Every time she wrestles it's the same stupid outfit which makes the entire group look out of place. Wish talents would actually try to fit their gimmicks as you won't reach the top of a company when details like this are ignored. Going back to the match Fallon didn't exactly perform well either Tatum was by far better. Fallon looked off it. Just don't get why Giulia vs Kelani didn't main event this show when it was by far the best match of the night. Overall: This was a pretty poor show outside of 2 matches Axiom vs Ethan & Giulia vs Kelani which were really good. Everything else felt off with some really bad booking especially in the main event & felt they dropped the ball on really capitalising on the end if Chase U last week. Disappointing show to say the least & can't say next weeks looks any better since it'll be dominated by 2 lame 4 ways & a tag battle Royal. Final Grade: 4/10

BC I said the exact same thing just the other day about Fallon Henley being the leader of Fatal Influence. Jacy Jayne should be the leader because she turned on Gigi Dolin and left Toxic Attraction because she wanted to be the leader, the star, and not a sidekick. It makes no sense for her to leave for that purpose and then join another group where she is the sidekick.

First and foremost Happy Thanksgiving BC and Amp Unit Much Love! Shawn Michaels is one of the best performers of all time and for him to get that serious about Ava was brilliant. I didn't watch most of NXT but what I saw wasn't too bad....Bicschoff is back which I thought was funny. Ricky Starks being basically 'hostage' at this point for whatever kind of reasons that TK has but it isn't right either....This dude wants to work and he's not being heard his boss should listen and let him go.......I don't believe that Punk should turn heel what I would LOVE to see is Cody turn heel, keep Seth heel and have Sami go heel so many options for other guys for Punk to stay face.....Great vid and as always Keep On Rockin' BC!

I do believe cm punk & Paul Heyman will join forces with the final boss. Wouldn't that be a turnaround after all the animosity over years. Would be a great debut for Netflix if they had punk, heyman & the rock ON THE SAME SIDE.
