I remember when AWA ALL-STAR WRESTLING finally premiered on WFTS Channel 28 on Sundays at 11am in Tampa in 1987 or 1988. I, at 12 or 13 yrs old, "told" my Dad, that I would not be attending Sunday "morning" services, until further notice. He said that I was worshipping Wrestling over The Lord. My response was, that I would not be attending ONLY Sunday MORNINGS. I was still going to attend Sunday night and Wednesday night services. That was one of the first times, that I can recall, that he let me make the call. I'm not saying it was the right call, but, what it taught me was that The Lord allows us to make our own. "CALL, or JUDGMENT. " However, HE makes THE FINAL CALL on JUDGMENT DAY.

I believe the show Alcatraz had one character with a rather fantastic quote in regards to religion and spirituality... "Religion is for those seeking reward. I believe in god and all that but I have a problem with these guys that spent 20 or so years doing drugs, going through who knows how many women, destroying other peoples careers for thier selfish reasons and being all around bad people then one day saying hey I'm sorry I was bad I want a clean slate. What kind of incentive is there for everyone else to live good lives when they did the bad stuff they did then get to start over as good people without having paid any consequences?
