Shawn is a nice man-like his style of drumming heavey hands when he needs it.also the way he stops cymbol ringing keeping the center of the stick on it after the crash.wish I could of met this man.

I love when Christmas comes around I get to pull out Rob Mathes' live album where Shawn drives it, adds spices, yet remains in the pocket and so tasty - really brings that to life as he does all his projects. Shawn is so cool guy! I had a lesson with him a few months ago and he's also a really good supportive teacher. Our lesson was focused on studio playing and he analysed my playing bar by bar and finally we listened to his version of the same song to compare :) Thanks for all the great interviews Dom!!

This cat is one of the greatest song drummers ever...ever. He does not play like a drummer...he is an artist...his FEEL is absolutely so inside the pocket and musical...he is an artist behind the kit...if you dont get this then stop watching Thomas Lang videos and get educated!
