Thanks for serving guys. Lord I'm getting old. I'm 2yrs Coop's senior. His military resume blows mine away, but I did serve: RM3, Persian Gulf "tanker war" - '87-88, escorted reflagged Kuwaiti tankers through the gulf / strait of hormuz during the Iran/Iraq war - precursor to Desert Storm really. Lots of crazy shit - tankers attacked by both sides, Iranian mines & silkworm missiles, Exocet missiles from Iraqi Mirage (French) aircraft. Our sister ship pummeled two Iranian oil platforms with 5" shells and once ablaze, frogmen in zodiacs planted charges and sank them! Good times!

"Hunting the Jackal" by Billy Waugh, the former Green Beret/"Spooky Stuff" was an interesting read about the early years of tracking Bin Laden. Then, Jawbreaker by Gary Bernsten, "Gary 2", (nicknames given by the Afghan's), (Gary Schroen, "First In" was "Gary 1"), spoke about him being on the Front lines in Afghanistan as a 70 year old! Dalton Fury's "Kill Bin Laden" mentioned him too. From his service in Vietnam, especially going behind enemy lines to retrieve the bodies of known dead serviceman, is something else, and it just gets more amazing from there. I hope there is someone in the community that remembers him and could tell some more stories on your show. He was called "His Majesty" by one of the operators, ( or some? It was said with mixed bravado/awe) at the beginning of the war in 2001, and everyone was buzzing about his presence and wanting to meet him. Keep up the awesome work Mr. Ryan! Love the show, and your brotherhood and families for all you do and have done for us!

Northern Ireland was a massive training opportunity for the British intelligence. Once the Peace agreement was signed, they looked at the big time players within crime. It’s cool that the Americans and the British swapped their experiences with each other.

You know As a retired Marine, yeah I did a lot of cool shit. Spent most of my career deployed, it was my choice…..not voluntold. From Kosovo 1999 to Iraq 2003-2008 to Afghanistan 2011-2014 Yeah I will admit, it sounds so cool until you are done with the military side and want to have a family……or be with a woman. That sure as shit isn’t happening when you do this shit. Divorce rate is at 75%+ in SPECOPS units. You have NO life. Then when you get done with that job, you get out into the civilian world and some 24 year old kunt looks at your resume and says “you’re a crazy army guy that has PTSD who’s going to come in here and kill us all”….(this is a real time in my life)…!! Good thing I’m retired. No regular person would hire me in the regular person. They sometimes said “if we need some terrorists taken out, youre the guy, if we need some documents typed, we can pay a kid $17.00 per hour to do it”. Think about your future before thinking this is so “bad ass”… Semper USMC / Retired

When I was young my friend Eric and I would sneak into the bank of America building in Midland Tx. I believe it was 27 stories with a glass elevator that showed the entire downtown while riding up or down. We would just walk around and look at things and try and stay off the radar. I would love to take a class with Espionage Agents of any Western Country. Hell even a Mossad agent would be dope.
