David Draiman is one of the best vocalists of all time. He's a great guy as well. You should react to The Night, Prayer, Inside the Fire (warning though it is a suicide awarness video) Indestructable, and the full version of Down with the Sickness. You guys reacted to the live version which was edited but the full veraion is a shocker.

Sully’s first solo album was amazing too. Avalon is the title
@melaniejordan11993 жыл бұрын
Cool story. I actually met Sully randomly. My non-profit employer was moving into new office space and the landlord called me outside to meet a "friend" of his. I told him he looked like the lead singer of Godsmack and his reply was "yeah, I get that a lot." LOL He had sunglasses on so I asked him to remove them because I just couldn't believe that it would be possible that Sully would be on my front steps. I almost fainted!!!! I ran inside and grabbed a school photo of my 15YO nephew (with blue hair ;) ) and had him autograph it with "You just need to realign." Then my nephew almost fainted. Such a cool, laid-back dude. And sooooo much smaller in real life. Amazing that that sound comes out of that body. /m\

My exposure to Disturbed is limited. I've listened to (and love) "Down With the Sickness," "The Sound of Silence," and "Glass Shatters." You're actually the one who introduced me to "Inside the Fire." So here's another one we're going to listen to for the first time together. And with that I press the play button. Already know this is going to be a heck of a ride.

There is no one quite like David Draiman, but the band as a whole just seem to have a magic to them, like the perfect storm. React to The Night which I think is probably their most underrated song and my favorite. Also, for another unique voice, Geoff Tate from Queensryche which is an metal band from the 80’s. In his prime no o e could touch his vocals. React to Take Hold of the Flame live in Tokyo and you will be stunned at his live vocals! He was the David Draiman of the 80’s

I hate their newer stuff, but they’ve got so many great songs. Been a fan since Down with the Sickness album came out. Watched them live once and when David does that scream at the beginning of down with the sickness, it gave me chills. In my opinion, they are like Korn, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch in that the further you go back in their discography, the better they are. I can’t hardly listen to anything newer from those bands lol. Not that it’s bad and I know bands change their sound, but I prefer the older stuff.
