The vibes and sounds of the 60's have NEVER been surpassed, in my humble opinion. The vocals, harmonies, melodies, the raw TALENT are UNBEATABLE! To me, the greatest era of rock & pop was from 1965 to 1975. Definitely a lot of great music before and after those years, but for my tastes, those 10 years are unrivaled. Thank you guys for doing The Grass Roots. By the way, the love and respect you guys show each other on here is a beautiful thing.

Creed and Rick on Guitar and Drums respectively.

Hi Shawn and Mel, thank you for playing my request today! Yay! It sure brought a smile to my face. :). All of their songs are great, my favorite is one called "My Midnight Confession". That is a really romantic one and has a great beat. I can't believe that I was so fortunate to see these guys in concert live on several occasions. In the late 70's and early 80's they came every summer and played at a local amusement park where I lived at the time called Knott's Berry Farm. They had different stages all over the park and bands from the 60's would play through out the park. It was amazing. I am so glad you enjoyed the song so much! Thanks again guys and have a wonderful day ahead!

This was me and my honey's song when it came out! We broke up in the beginning of 1969 and at the end of the school year his mom passed after his graduation and he went into the military. I never seen him again until 12 years ago when I found him on FB. He was divorced, the father of a son who is now a firefighter (also an Army vet) and they were sharing an apartment together in Chicago. We reconnected and he moved to the Houston area and we were married. But we never forgot that song and it's implications! Thank you so much! You two are amazing!! Keep it up!!
