If you would like to help Norman with a donation to the Snowy Owl project please check this link.
www.massaudubo.... Norman Smith is one of the leading experts on Snowy Owl and has been banding them for over 30 years. This video is the first in a three part series from I documentary I help produce with my friend Jim Grady several years ago. Along the way we met many wonderful people all of who were gracious to allow us to help tell the story of three incredible men that have been working to help protect the birds they care so much about. I hope you enjoy part one and please check out the next two in the coming weeks.
Note the total number of Snowy Owls Norman banded in the irruption season 2013 - 2014 was 179.
In part two we will look at Dr Stephen Hess and Project Puffin. projectpuffin....
Part three will be Tom Sayers and his Northeast Connecticut Kestrel Project.

This video would not have been possible without the help of many people and to all of them Jim and I say THANK YOU. They are all some of the most talented people I have had the pleasure of working with.
