Some songs have to be made featureless and this was one for Travis. future a legend but travis... goddamn travis just a god. it’s honestly the complete misunderstanding of travis for me with this video. every single album in travis discography is a well crafted and diverse project. future hasn’t released a cohesively good album since DS2. it’s the overblown use of sicko mode that has made people(understandably) annoyed with travis and it has really warped the perception of how well crafted and well produced and different all of travis projects are.

The point of the hit battle is more individual songs. Look at the drake v ye one. If it was whole albums ye would obliterate drake. However, as it was individual songs it is tighter. Travis projects are better than futures no doubt but song by song future washes him out

Few things I'll say for travis is that he knows how to put a cohesive body of work together better than future as rodeo > then anything future has released and id argue the same for astroworld ( maybe ds2) and travis's production is on a different level to future with respect and the last problem I have is that futures hits have become quite formulaic thats why his last 3 or 4 projects have been a miss for me and some of his best songs for the past 2 years would get beaten by most songs of astrowolrd. Also the output is not comparable. Since astrowolrd future has release 4 albums and 2 mixtapes so obvs future would have more hits however I do comeback to travis's best songs i do come back to more often than future.
