Very repetitive beats and then maybe near the end, we get something out of the ordinary. I’m thinking since he’s keeping the same flow, there isn’t a problem with Thug. From an Artist POV..when you can easily pull inspiration sonically and theme pieces from other trend creating artist, like the Kid Cudi, Asap Rocky, Travis Scott, Wayne to name a few. You get these types of Rappers like Gunna they sound great on features, IG stories, Reels and tic toks. No matter the subject matter being illustrated. Gunna would need to focus on creating his own lane to stand out sonically or else like this album will be here and now won't be something we care to play later on when another drop comes from someone else.... If he did or didn't tell, it doesn't matter to me. I'm someone who still enjoys GUMMO by 6ix9ine. That said, you're reasoning for why Thug is still cool with Gunna is seriously flawed. If anyone contacted Gunna about posting that QR code, it was the label. Thug hasn't spoken on Gunna publicly, and likely won't until his case is completely over and done (because Gunna is a witness). So right now, Gunna is campaigning to show Thug that he's holding him down and that he's still loyal. This is in the best interest of Gunna and his career. So, by the time Thug finally does speak on him, Gunna will hope that he's been able to influence Thug to say something positive, or at the very least something vague or neutral. I have lost all respect I had for Shawns opinion acting like this wasn’t a shit album and being completely hyper critical of Dave and Central Cee last week who made a way better mixtape than this album. Gunna went through an incredibly interesting experience and made the most boring music possible for 90% of this album though he did go into his situation a bit which is the bare minimum. On the other hand he went into the UK album last week with intentions of hating on it before even listening and this pretentiousness is something I really don’t like about this guy.
