Our souls are boundless, knowing no depth or breadth. Only ever outward expansion. We have to be seen to catch a glimpse of that truth, either in person, or by something we do or make. Each soul has its own song it sings. Some find their song, and some never even search for it. Shawn has given a glimpse of the boundless soul, and he has found his song, fueled by nature, his family, and Cali. We are blessed Shawn has shared his journey with us. Thank you. Many blessings.

I'm sitting in my lift chair where I've been the last few months, since I'm now living in a very nice nursing home in Nashville Indiana. My wife & I are no longer able to get out & go fishing in our boat, like we did up to 3 yrs. ago. Watching Shawn & his lovely wife starting over together in their new property along with Cali, is the highlight of my Friday evenings now. My wife is still at home & we talk on the phone every day. I miss us being being together more than anything. We are both 83 now, and been married 52 yrs. & we thank God that our minds are still young and intact. May God Bless you both.

Hi James, hope you're keeping well and safe. I've been following you for about a year now off and on. Its truly amazing how you build these log cabins by using manual tools that look ancient compared to the electrical tools we have today. I really enjoy how you make everything look so easy, and effortless. I also noticed how you pay close attention to detail. Everything you do is very well thought out and meticulously put together. For me personally, I enjoy how you add the details to what ever it is your building. This to me tells me its not just about building a log cabin or a workshop, but its the fine creative details you add, that makes it so much special. I'm sorry to hear about your move since you put so much work and effort into building that log cabin. I look at it this way, when one door closes another one opens. Maybe this was a blessing for you and your family. At least you had the opportunity to spend some time with what you built. I wish you nothing but good health, strength, stamina, and a sound mind. Im Canadian born but currently I've been living in the UK for 9 years now. I will keep watching your journey from the other side of the pond. I will send you a British Calendar from England Cornwall, that way, you'll know what day and month it is 😂. Keep going strong James, you truly are a remarkable person. God Bless you 🍁

I watch you for the inspiration of positivity and the ability to “redo”. I’m 64, a city girl, and do not like much of the 21st century. I’ve used an outhouse or two back in the day (went to visit 2 90-year-old twin great aunts - maternal grandpa’s side) back in 1962 when I was 6; it was interesting to say the least. I appreciate your thought process and ability. You give me inspiration.
