People often say in demo comments all over the internet "(this person or that person) could make any pedal sound good"... Shawn Tubbs is beyond all that. The pedal doesn't matter at all, he could have his guitar plugged into the cigar lighter of an old Buick, it would still open heavens gates...

What a killer sounding track Shawn. The Nordvang 83 Dual Overdrive pedal is definitely a "must have" on my pedal board. It definitely sounds thick, rich and and smooth. Shawn is that a Vally Arts guitar when you played that blistering solo line at 49 seconds? Holy crap my mouth just dropped to the floor. I have to lift that line of yours. The Unobtainium is great but is different from the '83. The Unobtainium is based on a Klon-style circuit and a Dumble-style circuit. The '83 is based on a Bluesbreaker circuit and a Klon-style circuit. Just depends on what you're after. Both pedals are excellent.
