Hey Shawn Woods ... Very Very interesting video. I have a Jillson and it has both teeth in it. Lord... these things are sharp 😲 😱. I've not put it on the market yet. It is 6 and 3/4 in length from top of device to bottom and the ring diameter is 2 inches. I can't imagine watching a mouse get caught in this. Would be an absolute bloodbath!

When are you going to do a taste test video on the best bait? The best mousetrap in the world is useless without bait. Everyone assumes peanut butter is best but the only way to find out is test em. Ill even send you some cashew butter and sunflower butter to test. Almond butter too. Beechnut butter. Brazil nut butter. Bush nut butter. Butternut butter. Chestnut butter. Filbert butter. Ginko nut butter. Hazelnut butter. Hickory nut butter. Macadamia nut butter. Pecan butter. Pine nut butter. Pistachio butter. Walnut butter.

Look at 1970s and 1980s boys toys, they are going up in value now and I view in my head as the junk toys from my youth. It's the disposable items that always end up as a valuable collectable. It's never the stuff that were cherished (like guns and sewing machines as good examples) as cherished items were all taken care of and passed on. Now there's exceptions to this statement but that's generally the case. A mouse trap that was made of cheap plastic was probably so cheap when it was new that when it caught a mouse it was thrown away right along with the mouse. As for the early industrial revolution and prior items, they were scarce and expensive to begin with so of course they have value as someone paid a lot for them back in the day.

@AtomicReverend4 жыл бұрын
@@DamienAlexander I was a matchbox and hot wheels kid and I was at a car swap meet a few months ago and the late 1970s to late 1980s Matchbox are pulling pretty good money considering they were like $0.59 each (at the most) when I was a kid. My aunt gave me the whole he-man collection and I never touched them as I was a future gearhead but I have been meaning to see if they are still floating around somewhere as I ended up with my parents house.. On that same note My buddy bought a voltron and paid in my opinion a lot for it about a year ago and when I saw it just like when I was a kid I am still confused by it or what it does lol but he insists it was a good price. What ever you do don't price the early Tamiya RC cars, they were expensive 40 years ago and today they still are... Same goes with quality BMX style bikes from the 1980s they are pretty pricey... Who would have thought. I guess it makes sense when I was a young adult I was actually I was into 1950s stuff and tank bikes and slot cars were the toys of my dads youth and they were pulling good money when he was in his 40s (and I was a teen) so I guess as I have became middle aged, we all reminisce about our youth so it was pretty much a guarantee that the good toys were going to go up in value still hard to think about that I am old and the clutter from my childhood is valuable.

A while ago, KZbin stopped notifying me of uploads and stopped showing your content on my homepage. I thought for the longest time that your channel got taken down until I looked it up again in the past few days. As it turned out, KZbin had unsubscribed me from your channel without my knowledge and stopped even suggesting videos to me. I'm very disappointed in KZbin for doing this, but I'm very happy to see your channel is still around. Thank you for the great content and entertainment during this crazy pandemic, too.

Well, I've watched enough episodes of "American Pickers" to know that when it comes to collecting, certain people will value items quite high, compared to, say, the typical public citizen. You have a pretty decent collection yourself. Enjoyed seeing the traps, and your daughter was a "kute kicker". Cheers.
@thesacredlobo3 жыл бұрын
That's because certain items are only really collectible within certain niche markets. After all, a person that specializes in collecting American coins may not be interested in coins from other countries. And a person that collects video games may not be particularly interested in collecting rare books and so on.
