What i meant by “gentleman” is, that he never boasts about what he’s accomplished , he’s polite, never swears and doesn’t get involved with the constant wind ups of Eddie and Robert, even though he’s one of the all time greats.He almost seems embarrassed to be around them when they’re acting up! mittens the house cat Agreed and Oberst is 34 years old which is usually around the time when strength begins to deteriorate in men. Doesn’t look like he’ll ever win one. He still has a chance but his years are running out.
@alienheadgains19776 жыл бұрын
603spikem I didn’t say he won’t be able to compete but his chances of ever winning are pretty slim at this point. Muscle growth and production deteriorates in all men around their mid-30’s. Also, you just proved my point because Mark Felix has never won WSM either. Closest he came was 4th place in 2006. Robert Oberst came in 3rd and is actually stronger than Felix. While Oberst is certainly the strongest man of all time at press and in the top 3 of squatting, he isn’t strong enough when it comes to deadlift and atlas stones. He needs to seriously build strength in his back and core.

@Gore4ever FulciLives Why would sprinters like Asafa Powell or Justin Gatlin lie about their height? Everyone has their reasons and many think that height has some intrinsic masculine value. And we can't know who's lying. It could also be journalists or fans misrepresenting their heights.

@@azura5505 The long story short is Obie being Obie is kind of a jokester. He likes to have fun, I've met the guy quite a few times and people think he's an arrogant douch but he's really a nice guy just he had a odd sense of humor. Eddie when he's in the gym isn't really one for jokes and from what I heard, again this is heresay, apparently Obie was making jokes about the UK and pissed off Eddie. There's also the rumored log lift dispute but who know's the legitimacy of that. I don't think they hate each other, I just don't think that Eddie appreciate's how Obie like to have a good time in the gym, and rightfully so because as much as I like Obie as a human being, he's out of Eddie's league and he doesn't have the work ethic that Eddie does. From the doc's I've seen on Eddie he takes everything strongman/training very seriously. Brian and Obie on the other hand take it serious, but not like Eddie does. Idk, I'm on the same level with Jay 88 tbh. I don't really care what the beef, if any at all, is between them.
