The physiotherapist uses this device to measure my grip strength and was amazed by my grip in my right (unsuffered) hand, pulled 75kg, I didnt know that was actually solid comparing to these units of men haha. My left only did 15kg, but its getting better!

Affter seeing everyone pull, it blows my mind that i did 150 pounds in my occupational therapy appointment, because I'm not big, and i dont' workout. They said they hadn't seen anyone in a long time pull that much. I didn't think much of it, but I'm surprised and proud now. my grandfather said he did 250 pounds when he was young, cuz his job was to throw 50 pound feed bags all day (one handed). 250 is insane.

This trend is interesting. I got into it after seeing a video a couple years ago. Results are all over the place and not what you'd expect. From my testing of people I know, anything over 130 lbs for a guy is pretty good. My best is 176 lbs ( 48 years old and 185 lbs ). Seeing UFC guys below 150 lbs is odd. Grip strength helps so much for wrist control in grappling situations. Lots of arm wrestlers score lower than me.
@alexmashkin863
@alexmashkin863 Ай бұрын
You don't really need crushing strength in armwrestling. I mean, if you do have it, it's nice to have, but it's not necessary, not something people train for. That being said, grip strength world record holder (or runner up, they change all the time) is an armwrestler :-)

I'm similar 48 years of age, around 100kg bodyweight, my best pull on similar machine is 180lbs, weight training about 3 years nothing crazy heavy but do a good load of farmers walks, deadhangs, rows, carries, deadifts etc and a lot of hobbies involve grip and finger strength, sea fishing, guitar playing bit of work on my car. I brought my machine into work loads of 'normal' guys around the 100 to 130lb range. A few in the mid 140s, and a bodybuilder guy around 155lbs. A lot of younger guys pretty weak, some of the girls were better. Id say the best grips were all 50+ dudes. I feel like I am the grip god of my work ha ha. 200lbs is my target!!!

Brian Shaw did almost 1600N on the Dynamo when testing his grip strength and 138kg on this. I did 680N on the Dynamo testing at 90 degrees though, so that's ~56kg on this. Geeze I got a long way to go.

I think it's a GM150, could be wrong but it looks exactly like what Laletin got 167kg on recently.
