I had given up on life, numb from all of it. I was sure life was never going to be better and I felt that it made me smart to expect the worse in everything, that way I could never be disappointed. I was so lost and tired I decided to look for Jesus. If anyone could help me I knew he could. It didn’t happen right away, but one day as I knelt in church I felt his love and found the peace I was always looking for but couldn’t find. I felt I wasn’t good enough, some days I still don’t but God keeps reminding me he won’t abandon me as his love for me is unconditional. I know he’s with me because I still feel his peace. He changed my life for the better. I feel this song with my whole heart. I hope this helps anyone going through a rough time in their life.
