Shaye Zadravec - Windfall

Shaye Zadravec's first release from her upcoming album "Now and Then" is a great remake of the classic Son Volt song "Windfall". Written by Jay Farrar and released on Son Volt's first album, Trace (1995), this is a great sing-along road song. The album was produced by Goran Grini (Skien, Norway) and features Mike Lent - bass, Chris Nordquist - drums, Tim Leacock - guitars / mandolin, and Russell Broom - guitars, Goran Grini - acoustic guitar / Wurlitzer piano, Sydney Zadravec - b/g vocals, Bruce Bouton - steel guitar and Denis Dufresne - fiddle.

I heard this on Allison Brock's show on CKUA last Saturday. Glad to see the video. I too saw Shaye a couple years ago at the Blues Can for a couple nights on a rare stop in Calgary. She was playing with Tom Phillips & the DT's (including her sister Sydney & Tim Leacock. Looking forward to Now and Then! Nice work Shaye!
