In brief, he answers the inquiry about the sinfulness of wasting money on a photographer for the wedding. The shaykh on the ground with the imaamah is asking Shaykhuna to confirm the invalidity of this particular transaction, to confirm it for the attendees. Shaykhuna says it's baatil. He then tells shaykh (loose translation) “Stay with us. We never let you go. We will never let you go!” The shaykh with the imaamah to rectify the misguidance of the donkeys and degenerates of Harar. Shaykhuna then confirms the statement of the bald man regarding the impermissibility of saying Ya RuH when referring to Allah as added in the book Fathur Rahman (a salawaat book) by the Waliy of Harar. This mistake was added in some copies of Fathur Rahman. The shaykh with the imaamah asks Shaykuna to explain the impermissibility. Shaykhuna said Aw Hashim is an Ash'ariy, and knows the judgement that saying Ya RuH about Allah is not permissible. He then mentions that the statement falsely attributed to Shaykh Abdulqadir of “If I wanted, I can extinguish Hellfire” are not words of awliyya, and he never truly said that. He said Shaykh Abdulqadir knew the Qur’an wherein Allah says Hellfire is everlasting, so how can awliyya say such things? There are certain words that don’t reach the awliyya’s mouth. He KNEW Hellfire won’t be extinguished, and he never made this erroneous claim. The awliyya are firm about the everlastingness of Hellfire. The bald man next to the shaykh on the floor with the imaamah affirms it to said shaykh with the imaamah. He says Aw Hashim was an Ash'ariy and Shafi'iyy. They said all agreed to change Ya RuH to Ya Khaliqal RuH in the text, as Shaykhuna suggested. The copy of Imam Ash'ariyy’s book (which is in Shaykhuna’s hand and asked earlier for someone to get for him) is over 400 years old and hand-written, from the time of Sultan Mahmoud. The man next to the shaykhs on the floor says “We’ll erase this mistake because Aw Hashim was an Ash'ariy, so there’s no way he said Allah is Ar-RuH.” The audience expresses their acceptance and joy of this session.
