You can see glimpses of how they arrange songs in their PTXperience videos, though I don't remember which ones. Basically, they get in a circle and build them from the ground up, establishing the bass and rhythm, then the melody and harmonies. Then they go through rounds of perfecting the arrangement, adding flourishes. They also have had arrangement and songwriting collaborators throughout the years but not always. And this video is great because now they're opening for Kelly Clarkson instead of just covering her.

I know they have talked many times, about bringing a song to the group, and then just sitting down together, and working it out. Sometimes Avi and Kevin will work out the basics, and then they add the vocals.
