i mean, he's a fan favorite. it's hard to find a single person hating on him, so he's the safe option to do something new with. if the fans start hating on the shayne or his performance, production can usually tell that it's probably the new format and not shayne's acting or just doing whatever

Man, the IntergalacWhip is still one of my favourite Smosh moments. I've been watching Smosh since around 2009/2010, so I was lucky enough to watch parts of Smosh Live...well...live. I remember cracking up as soon as Olivia said that line in that voice and I love how Anthony just fell apart after that. Thanks for the nostalgia hit!

Kids on Bikes was how I rediscovered Smosh. I had been aware of it back in 2006/2007 when I was in highschool, and at the time I saw this sketch I had been watching The Goldbergs and recognized Shayne. Then I saw the name Smosh and had to look way back in the videos to see if it was the same channel I remembered from highschool. I was surprised to see it was still around and how much it had changed. Anyway, I have been watching the channel since then and you guys have just gotten better and better.
