I personally think that there was nothing wrong with what Shay did or that he had his daughter hold a sign imitating a homeless person, because it did not seem like he was making fun of homeless people in the video it seemed like she literally stood there for a minute just for the vlog/picture. it was just cute to see a little adorable girl holding the sign and no one in the vlog said anything mean or rude about homeless people and Shay himself thought the whole hidden sign concept interesting. Some people just need to learn to take it easy & live a little, and I really don't think Shay should need to overthink every little thing he does in HIS own vlogs.

it sucks because there are people who legitimately need money and ask for it on the streets and then there are people who scam you and ask for money on the streets. it really ruins it for those who actually need the money- these days you really can't trust ANYONE.

Not just people on the street do these things. People get scammed by businesses and stuff all the time. There are legitimate honest, do-good companies that work hard to serve people properly and then there are tons of companies that rip people off, are complete scams, etc.

We all meet people who are just brilliant and exciting, but because they don't risk it to get the biscuit, then they don't realise their full potential...or any potential at all. People call you lucky when you get the break you fought for, there is no such thing as luck, only people looking back and declaring you to be 'lucky'. I am in no way a blind fan of Shay himself, I think for such a clever man to believe in Mormonism or religion is no less than irrational, but his life, the way he is with people, his family and how he crafted the perfect vlogging career? I use to refuse to give to the homeless. Then I've gone through some really dark and hard times of my own. Now I always give. The way I look at it now is that I'm grateful to have something to give.

Very good way to look at life. I always judged people who asked for help until I found out first hand how easy it is to loose everything. All it takes is one little thing and your life can spiral out of control in a blink of an eye. there are people who are homeless and that is sad but over 70% of the homeless are drug/alcohol addicts and a large percent are homeless and it is their own fault. one of the reason for it is alcoholic, bad, sometimes divorced and violent parents and family. This is a good example of a role model for how family should be. This family is a such an inspiration

Since some homeless people use the money for drugs or alcohol now I'm not saying all of them just some, but we five them like sandwiches or food instead of money so we know they will use it for themselves or their kids to be on the safe side and make sure they don't use if for like alcohol or not things they need or not caring about food for children (if they have some) also if people are scamming us then we know they aren't just taking our money but they get food

What I find annoying is that even people who are suffering with homelessness and money problems, it's not like he is aiming anything at you. He doesn't step across the line EVER.
