Is it a thought provoking movie with huge stakes and ramifications for the future? No. Was it entertaining? Yes. Sometimes, that’s all a movie needs to be, fun and entertaining. Not every movie has to be striving for the Oscar for best story and best screenplay.

I was afraid Billy died too, having already watched a film where he's murdered. For Fury of the Gods, Billy's death was originally planned to be permanent. Thank Zeus Gal Gadot showed up on set for a cameo.

Coming from a 28 year-old aspiring actor who was born with Cerebral Palsy, Jack Dylan Glazer's portrayal of Freddy Freeman, a handicap Superhero enthusiast in Shazam was correct, charming, and respectful. I’m so proud of how Hollywood got this right.

I like that they have Wonder Woman cameos in the movies. It's a world with multiple superheroes, the idea that you wouldn't come across any not directly related to the story is a bit weird. And they're not using her to force a story line. She's just there to help.

TBH, it doesn’t really make sense to use this clip at 16:31 which was probably filmed at the AMC Boston Commons theater, and yet the audio for the reactions was captured on the other side of the country, in Los Angeles.

Idc if the reactions are quiet. But at least for pete's sake, include the important parts of the movie. The twist on Anthea, the teacher jumping off, Kalypso using her Kalypso powers on Freddy, Hespera getting stabbed, them finding Billy's body, etc. We're not here just for the laughs.

I mean the same people that make Teen Titans Go made the Mario movie, so I knew to expect a paper thin story with that one. It's also sad that so many things affected this movie poorly: bad marketing, the DC reboot deciding for people it isn't worth seeing, all the Black Adam drama etc.

I wonder if the audience would have been as happy and supportive if it was a female character that came out of the closet. Also just once it’d be nice to have a male character say a girl makes him laugh and thinks she’s funny and that’s why he likes her. (It’s never the other way around for some reason).

It all depends dude. My theater was full for movies like Avengers Endgame (300+ seats is the average for the smaller screening rooms) and it was dead quiet. Not everyone thinks or reacts the same, while these people clearly had a blast watching this one.
