I think they could’ve done a better interview with Shazney on her music although this is not too bad compared her appearance on the One show (again her appearance on show wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t that good either it just come of as tone deaf 🧏‍♀️ at times mainly because of Alex Jones remarks and questions to Shazney.) Although the guy who did this interview with Shazney did alright here but the female interviewer comes of as a bit tone deaf and unintentionally ignorant (just like Alex Jones on the One show.) she acts as if Shazney’s band was the only R&B girl group in the 90s and the way she talks about song “Never ever.” a song it considered to be dated in today’s standard (even by All saints notorious fan base who favoured their second signature song.) a song with not that much redeeming quality to it. It was a boring lacklustre song that charted because people began to care about girls bands few years earlier, two of the members of the group were from North America and that Shazney’s bandmates were white as it white people who are mainly paying their records. If Shazney band mate were women of colour no would have cared very much about her band I bet that female interviewer wouldn’t have cared, Shaz’s former band mate Simone Rainford was living proof of this. It would been better if it was someone of colour to interview her because they might have been a bit more understanding of Shazney and her music and make her feel comfortable during interviews. Nonetheless I wish Shazney well, if she wants to do something different or take on any new projects that comes her way she should probably have a go at it.

I do think there songs are very dated. I agree that they caught lighting in a bottle as there wasn’t really any girl bands or no X factor or anything like that for any real competition.
