The problem with modern movies is that too many scenes are filmed in the dark. In the forties, even in the dark, we could follow the action due to the good work of the lighting engineers.

The girl leaves by the front door after unlocking it, the blind bloke closes that door, but does not lock it ??? She used a large key to unlock the door, you would need the same to lock it again. She also told the blind man to leave by the back door and to lock it ??? None of this makes any sense. Then we see her walking down a road with a goat on a lead ??? all very strange. I'm at the 8 minute mark and don't think I'll last much longer. 17 minutes, so bored, that's it for me.

The Quiet Hour (2014) Clickbait thumbnail. Getting sick to death of this type of thing. British SF film although shot in Ireland is about a alien invasion Post Apocalyptic end of the would type movie. A feisty teenage girl sets out to protect her farm from human scavengers who will stop at nothing to survive this dying world. Stars Dakota Blue Richards, Karl Davies and Brigitte Millar. It's slow and very boring with opening scene of the girl burying her mum and dad.
