My aunt and uncle did this back in the 70’s 80’s. It was sweet. Seems like everyone is going back to the taboo old school ways. They had a full bedroom . Skylight. Washer dryer. Awesome job you did hun. You will definitely enjoy it, ✨✌️💜 🚌

I like this build because it’s clear that with the patience and time to find salvage items, you can really make this affordable. She clearly chose everything carefully and did as great a job as some 50k+ busses I’ve seen for only 20k.

Beautiful art on the outside and inside of bus! I think your bus is unique, I am impressed with the way you saved money with your build. I plan on taking notes , I also think it is the perfect size and length. So glad your bathrm isn't a wet bath too! The kitchen faucet is gorgeous, great savings on kitchen sink. The table behind the couch genius! and easy to set up. This is a thought provoking build. Important information to remember when I buy a bus! Love skoolies . That’s my dream. We were forced into rv living due to my husband almost dying from covid, and we just couldn’t afford to pay our rent which they raised 300 a month…we didn’t have a lot of time to learn about rv’s we had to make a quick decision. So we bought an older 5th wheel, which is leaking because the people that sold it to us masked a leak in the back wall. 😢 I love your channel and learn so much from the videos you post ❤

I believe it’s a great idea to explore and experience the country and people by van, bus or RV to help you determine where you’d like to live. It would certainly open your eyes as to how beautiful this country is. There are several RVrs who traveled full-time and found their little piece of paradise and retired from traveling full-time. There are other full-timers who find a beautiful piece of land somewhere to use as a home base. I’d love to travel full-time and eventually find a spot where I’d want to live for the remainder of my life, but eventually I’d probably miss my wife.

I love Heidi's approach - to the build, to her reason for a mobile-life, and the design/work that went into this build! I appreciate (and relate to) using as many re-purposed materials as possible (Habitat for Humanity / the Re-store). My favorite parts are the ceiling bump-up in the shower (and WOW to the wooden walls!!!) and the convertible couch/bed with fold-over table!!! Great designs all around! PS: Porter is a cute doggo - looks like a great companion for adventures.

Very nice! This young lady has both vision and talent. The only thing I would change is the exterior red would be burnt orange and the leopard print would be wild flower print. Again, very nicely done!!!

Lovelovelove the colorful boho vibe! I know some people can't handle all the disparate colors and patterns, but I just love how homey and comfortable this place feels with all the variety; not another sterile white tiny house build. And the many creative and unique touches that Heidi came up with to save money and express herself just gives such a wonderful sense of how much she poured of herself into the build. Her bus is so cool. I completely understand her thoughts on trying find where she wants to create her home base, and doing that through traveling. My home base is not anywhere near where my home town is. I think people get caught up on the idea of our hometown being the place where we create our home base, but that's just not always the case. I lived in a few different cities and states before deciding on my home base. I wish this young lady many safe travels.

I have never seen such a beautiful shower. I love this build. This young woman’s skill artistically and practically are truly amazing. I really like the separate toilet and that she made it herself. It is so affordable because of all the work she put in to make it that way. And there is no sense of it being cheaply made….really classy.

I love thisbuild! It’s so pretty and unique. I’ve thought about having a handicapped bus as well but I think I would keep the mechanics of it just so I could get heavy things in snd out without having to lift. I have a really bad knee and even if it’s just me going in and out it would be great. If you check out a little device called “Soft Start” it will allow you to use your AC without worrying about that huge spike in power consumption. I didn’t hear anything about the electronics of the bus other than having 800 watts of solar but I believe the Soft Start works best with lithium batteries. This is wonderfully creative and you should be proud of all of your efforts! Congratulations and Vaya con Dios!!

I REALLY LOVE THIS... ONE MAJOR YES IS THE FACT THAT THE SHOWER/TOILET ARE SEPERATE. IT'S VERY ARTSY. THE 1 THING I WOULD HAVE IS A SMALL TV THAT SWIVELS TO BE VIEWED IN ROOM OR LIVINGROOM SINCE I'M A MOVIE HEAD.
