When a girl doesn't have a father figure in her life to show her what she should and should not accept from men, it leads to a lack of standards and a path of self destruction. Young girls like that will jump on anything that's willing to give them a crumb of attention...accepting way below the bare minimum. I'm glad she recognizes it stems from that, but I think she needs professional help from a therapist to actually heal, build her self esteem and self respect up, and finally establish some standards and boundaries. That's the only way to stop the cycle of attracting cheaters and men that continue to abandon her...just like her dad. The cycle has already begun for her 5th child from her husband that abandoned them. At least the other 4 baby dads are still around.

I’m going to have to say she’s similar to the guy who had 5 kids from 5 women from Mississippi. Neither of them showed they have any direction. At 32, 5 children from 5 different men, is not a good look. I don’t think she’s bad at all but something is going on with her judgment. I just found this show today and I must say, it's so close to the KS show. One of the differences here is; how Kendra talks to and respond to these callers. She's not rude or critical. The questions asked are all valid. Especially when she repeats to them what they've said. Ladies just listen to yourselves and do some serious self reflecting. Do better! Acknowledging childhood trauma and how it shaped you and the choices you make is not necessarily making an excuse as some have suggested in the comments. I do however agree with you Kendra that she is in denial or should I say oblivion in regards to thoroughly seeing her situation for what it truly is but I don't know why anyone would expect someone who doesn't know Jesus and has gotten professional help to be able to operate at their full potential. So many people are living with undiagnosed mental and physical health problems. There's so much untreated trauma but we constantly chase after the "American Dream" or societal standards of success instead of chasing after God. You want access to the resources with out going to the source? Good luck with that.
